"I really wanted to focus on cultivating a zen, peaceful, cozy living environment, and I'm happy with how it's evolving."
I live in a 746 sq. ft. apartment in Columbus, OH. I was the very first tenant to occupy this unit, so it really feels like MY home. Living in a small space can be somewhat of a challenge, but it can also be fun, and more importantly, it allows you to think outside the box in terms of styling.
I would label my aesthetic as transitional and ever-changing, but I tend to gravitate towards earth tones and neutral palettes with subtle pops of color. Decorating is a never-ending process for me, so things are always being removed, added, shifted, and rearranged. I really wanted to focus on cultivating a zen, peaceful, cozy living environment, and I'm happy with how it's evolved over the past few years.
I'm drawn to anything from eclectic design to minimal Scandinavian styling. I pull inspiration from everywhere - Pinterest, Instagram, books, interior design blogs, and websites such as Home Polish and Apartment Therapy.
Your home should be a place of refuge, your sanctuary. Go the extra mile to add those special touches, and surround yourself with all the things that are special and meaningful to you.
