Chrissy Teigen's Cookbook + Grace Bonney's 'In The Company of Women'
I have been wanting to buy Chrissy Teigen's cookbook since its release date earlier this year, but kept putting it off, and this evening, I finally threw it in the cart to purchase. I'm so excited to learn some new dishes to prepare! If you don't know about Chrissy Teigen, then what rock are you living under? Look, the truth is, people either love Chrissy, or they absolutely hate her. I really don't think there's an in-between, which I find quite hilarious, yet mystifying. She has a larger-than-life personality on social media, and is not afraid to be herself. I'm personally on Team Teigen. She's funny as hell, adorable, and can cook her ass off.
You can tell that she truly has a genuine passion for cooking (and eating).
Her book comes highly recommended (it has received a 5-star rating on Amazon, based on almost 900 reviews), so I am eagerly looking forward to getting in the kitchen and trying some new recipes this fall/winter season.
Grace Bonny, the founder of Design*Sponge, also released a new book this month that really sparked my interest. Design*Sponge is a blog that I have been visiting for years (it's been around since 2004!), so it's really awesome to see how far it has come. This book focuses on the lives of influential women who share their stories, along with some great advice and words of inspiration in regards to pursuing your passions. I'm really anxious to receive this book because I love reading these kinds of stories!
