"I really wanted to focus on cultivating a zen, peaceful, cozy living environment, and I'm happy with how it's evolving."
I live in a 746 sq. ft. apartment in Columbus, OH. I was the very first tenant to occupy this unit, so it really feels like MY home. Living in a small space can be somewhat of a challenge, but it can also be fun, and more importantly, it allows you to think outside the box in terms of decorating.
I would label my aesthetic as transitional and ever-changing, but I tend to gravitate towards earth tones and neutral palettes with minimal pops of color. Decorating is a never-ending process for me, so things are always being removed, added, shifted, and rearranged. I really wanted to focus on cultivating a zen, peaceful, cozy living environment, and I'm happy with how it's evolving.
I'm drawn to anything from eclectic interiors to minimal Scandinavian design, and I seek inspiration from everywhere - Pinterest, Instagram, books, interior design blogs, and websites such as Home Polish and Apartment Therapy.
Your home should be a place of refuge, your sanctuary. Go the extra mile to add those special touches, and surround yourself with all the things that you love. Invest in your home the way you would invest in yourself.
