New Beauty & Wellness Goodies From Fresh Thyme Farmers Market

I'm so excited to finally be living near a Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. I have never been there before today, but I've always heard it mentioned by people who frequent stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, so when I saw that they were building one a mile from my apartment, I couldn't wait for it to open so I could check it out.

Today was one of those "treat yourself to something, girl - you deserve it" days, so I picked up a few items that I've never used before, and I'm really looking forward to trying them out. Also, I must mention that before visiting Fresh Thyme, I went to get a haircut and a new pair of boots.

Back to the topic at hand - I wanted to try Alaffia's Coconut Eye Cream. I've tried some of this brand's other products (love their face and body wash), and these days, I'm always looking for eye creams and anything that claims to reduce fine lines and dark circles because a sista is starting to age. I tried it on in the store and loved how it felt on my skin, so I threw it in the basket.
I don't take baths as often as I would like (I'm usually a shower kind of girl - in and out), but I think that taking those moments to sit still and relax with some soft music and a candle or some incense, is needed. I wanted to try this Relaxing Lavender Bubble Bath by Aura Cacia because I love the smell of Lavender, plus it has many health benefits, including helping with stress and calming the body and mind.

I also picked up some delicious-smelling Mango Butter by Nubian Heritage. It's made of 100% shea and mango butters, and contains vitamins A, C, and E, which is a major yes.

If you know me, you know that I am obsessed with all things buddha, so when I saw this cute incense buddha tray, I had to have it. As you can see, I've already burned an incense on it. It's the little things.
